Intro to EventStorming
EventStorming is a powerful and collaborative workshop-based technique that enables teams to gain a deeper understanding of complex business domains, leading to more effective software development.
In this 3-hour workshop, we will explore the fundamentals of EventStorming and how it fosters seamless collaboration between business stakeholders, domain experts, and development teams.
This is a collaborative workshop in two parts. We start with Big Picture EventStorming. We will then move from Big Picture EventStorming into EventStorming for Process Modeling. This workshop demonstrates multiple points:
- Experience EventStorming in a domain that most people can relate to
- Experience the build up of starting with Big Picture and showing how to could lead to other EventStorming sessions
- Display the differences in the goals of Big Picture versus the goals of Process Modeling
