The NimblePros team is excited to announce the launch of "The
Candlestick," a weekly session dealing with software
development and craftsmanship. These sessions, held at their
Hudson offices each Tuesday, are focused on a variety of topics,
from best practices in project design to information on the latest
technologies.
"We have a great deal of expertise and talent, in a variety of
areas," said Michelle Smith, Managing Director of NimblePros."
These sessions offer our team the ability to share that knowledge,
both among our own staff and the developer community at large."
The sessions kicked off on June 1st, with a session by
Brendan Enrick on Practical Kanban. Andrew Vanek followed
on June 8th, presenting on MVVM. Sessions on CSS,
Anti-Patterns, and MVC are planned for upcoming weeks.
"Ideally, we'd like to open up these sessions to other local
developers in the future," said Smith. "We have a very active
community of developers who are involved in the Hudson Software
Craftsmanship User Group, who are, like NimblePros, passionate
about good development. However, in the short-term, the
podcasts offer us the ability to share this information with others
in the community."
The Candlestick Podcast will be
available on the NimblePros website each week.
