NimblePros has just released Atomiq, the latest in its series of
code analysis tools. Atomiq, a follow-up to the popular
Nitriq product released in April, focuses on eliminating duplicate
code.
According to Brendan Enrick, Senior Developer at NimblePros and
MVP, "Eliminating duplicate code improves the overall quality of
software applications; applications become easier to comprehend,
navigate, maintain, and update. Well written code has a high level
of code reuse."
Atomiq, originally code named "Copy Paste Killer," works with a
variety of source code, including C#, VB.NET, ASPX, and XAML.
However, its real advantage to developers is that it finds code
that is SIMILAR but not exactly duplicated. This intelligent
searching functionality is critical to making Atomiq a leading tool
for developers who want to improve their code base.
"Atomiq lets developers instantly see where and how much
duplicate code exists in their project at a price that won't break
the bank," said Jon von Gillern, Architect of Atomiq.
